Default P/N Hasty Minions Build, Thoughts?

So I acidently selected necro as my secondary for my Para. Guess I had a momentary laps of thought but I thought I would try anyhow. I was thinking tonight and ended up with this, if y'all would read over this build and let me know what you think.

Leadership 12+2
Command 10+1
Death Magic 8+1+1

Elite Aura of the Lich
Animate Bone Minions
They're on Fire
Blazing Finale
Make Haste
Stand your ground
Go for the Eyes

So here's how it works. First try and keep Aura of the lich up. Paras have high armor and should take minimal DMG from attacks with it up. Try and summon minions as you can I know it'll be hard to get them started but once the battle is going it should be no problem. Use Blazing Finale, this will give it to your minions as well. Follow it with Make haste, this not only makes your minnions faster but as soon as they hit causes all enemies to burn. Use they're on fire to further reduce DMG, also reducing DMG to minions. Use Go for the eyes as it comes available to add a little more DMG to your minions attacks. Use blazing finale as you can and each time couple it with make haste so that you're constantly replenishing the burn on your opponents. Stand your ground is a great way to add Def to both you and your minions, since you won't be moving much and they often dont' I find it of great use. This build will require you are almost ALWAYS hitting buttons as skills recharge and may require some good energy management in the beginning. But as things get going your shouts and chants will provide excellent energy management. Especially the use of the make haste blazing finale combo. Also the 8th skill is left open, suggestions there are much appreciated.

Well thats it guys, any ideas, thoughts, or critiques are more than welcomed.

Go for the Eyes is useless with minions unless your using Find Their Weakness. Minions just do random damage on critical hits.

Why not just go pure paragon and don't use your secondary? That's what I do :/

A few things seem off to me here. First it seems like you're trying to do a tank build with the Aura of Lich as your elite but then you are randomly packing minions which doesn't really support the concept (or maybe its the other way around)

I have tested GFTE is supposed to work on minions based on its description but I have tested this against an ally in a scrim situation and logged the damage increase and it is very minimal. Theoretically this does work.

I like the burning and ToF concept but I would change out Blazing Finale for anthem of flame. Why? Blazing can be cast on only one person. Theoretically, Anthem should work on all the minions and everything they attack should be set on fire. Which would be good cause they seem to attack randomly and that would spread the burning around faster and hence make ToF work better.

In any case, the build seems confused. I would either focus on getting minions up and using the paragons Leadership to rejuvinate energy in absence of Soul Reaping (in which case GFTE could be used to replenish energy rather than for its described effect) or use Aura of the Lich as an elite to come up with a paragon tanker build.

Default hmmm...

I'm not sure what I was thinking w/ the Aura. But the stand you ground was there because often minnions don't move and the +24 armour could be of use to them. The Aura we really just for support when the minnions fall, I guess fall back may work better there.

I played around w a similar build sometime ago. You need Blood of the Master to keep your minions alive during a fight. You could also use Death Nova since your minions will be dying anyway.

Blazing finale is nice but I'd look for a way to include Burning Refrain as well. Fall Back and Never Surrender can help with healing minions and are much better options than Make Haste.

It's already been discussed in another thread. Anthem of Flame doesn't work on minions, because they don't have any attacks skills, they just attack. The Blazing should be kept, due to the fact that it set's burning off whenever a chant/shout end's on target. The GFTE! Should be kept because its the only shout in the build that Starts/Ends fast enough during the fighting for it to trigger Blazing. Just things I notice.

If I ignore for the moment that you've somehow got a Death Magic headpiece on paragon, you've still only got 10 DM, which is just flat out sucky. Death Magic effects your minion cap and your minions' hp, armor, and damage. You need 12 DM to be a minion bomber, and you need 16 DM to be a minion master. I hate to be all dogmatic on you, but there's no way around it.

This is wrong. Minions don't get the automatic max roll, but they DO get the -20 armor bonus. Across 10 lvl 18 minions (what you see on a real minion master) GftE can add a whole bunch of DPS.

Um. The fact that no one else has caught this yet is really throwing me off, but I'm pretty certain none of these shouts and anthems would even affect minions in the first place.

"Go For The Eyes!", "Stand Your Ground!", and Anthem of Flame only affect party members, which minions definitely are not. Even if Anthem of Flame could affect minions (and it can't), they use no attack skills so it would never trigger. Further, shouting in range of minions is not going to give you any energy from Leadership since they're unaffected. The basis of the build is flawed from the start, having sub-par Death Magic doesn't even come into play.

I say just be P/ until you can change to P/W for "Save Yourselves!"

2. Go for the Eyes does affect minions, and it's easy to test with leadership.

3. Paragons make terrible minion masters as Cthon already pointed out, but can significantly increase a MM in the party with GftE!

This build thinks outside the box, which is good. I like that, but if fails.

MisterB-->Paragons make terrible minion masters. The only "good" sub for a profession minion master is a Rit, which also doesn't play super well. Thinking outside the box, good, but /"research"\ before posting.
